Should I include a workbook to accompany the Live training of my Workshop Course?

A workbook can be a great way to increase engagement and help your students take action during your Live Workshop Course, but it’s not required. If you’re going to create one, make sure you give your students access to it before the workshop so they can print it out and come prepared.

I recommend linking it in your registration confirmation email and your reminder emails leading up to the Live session. You don’t want to wait and drop it during the workshop itself because that can distract people right when you want them focused.

If a workbook feels overwhelming, skip it. You can still offer something helpful by turning your slide deck into a simple PDF and sharing it in your post-workshop email along with the replay link.

And if you do create a workbook, keep it simple. Canva and Google Docs both work great. The most important thing is that it supports your teaching without slowing you down.
