I’m following the Pre-Launch Runway plan to grow my list, but I’m not seeing results. What should I do?

First, take a moment to define what “working” actually means for you. I recommend setting two simple goals: (1) show up consistently each week and (2) aim to add 25 to 50 new subscribers per week during your Pre-Launch Runway. If you're not hitting those numbers yet, don’t worry, but do start looking at where you might make improvements.


Make sure you're doing the foundational work each week:


  • Publish one piece of content like a blog, podcast episode, or video
  • Email your list, even if it’s small
  • Share your lead magnet every single week
  • Post on social media 5 or more times per week
  • Make sure the link to your lead magnet is easy to find and accessible in every post

If you’re doing all of that and still not seeing list growth, revisit your messaging. Ask yourself:


  • Is my content directly tied to what my ideal customer wants?
  • Is my lead magnet solving a problem or delivering a quick win?
  • Am I being clear about the value of what I’m offering?

Go back to your course calls from Module 2, Lesson 1 in the Ready to Launch track. Your audience likely told you what they need. Are you reflecting that in your lead magnet and weekly content? This strategy works, but it often takes consistency, clarity, and small tweaks along the way. Keep showing up, adjust where needed, and trust the process.
