How can I do my Live videos like Amy does where she shares her slides and there is a smaller image of her talking to the camera?
If you're on a Mac, I highly recommend using Ecamm Live. It's user-friendly and gives you a clean, professional setup without a big learning curve. You’ll be able to:
- Share your screen to show slides
- Use picture-in-picture so your camera feed appears while you present
- Bring in guests for interviews
- Stream simultaneously to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and more
- Show Live comments and reactions
- Use a DSLR or mirrorless camera for a high-quality video feed
If you're on a PC and ready for something more advanced, vMix is what I use in my studio. It gives you full production-level features, but it does take some time to learn. Once you get the hang of it, you can run a professional-quality Live show all on your own.
If you're just getting started on PC and want something simpler, Restream is a great option. It’s easy to use and still gives you solid features like:
- Streaming to multiple platforms from one place
- Uploading and scheduling pre-recorded videos
- Bringing up to six people on screen
- Managing comments from all your platforms in one place
- Access to basic stream analytics
Start with the tool that matches your current needs and comfort level. You can always upgrade later as you grow.
