Is it necessary to have an open and close cart, or can I leave my cart open all the time?
While you can technically leave your cart open year-round, I strongly recommend starting with an open and close cart structure. Launching with a clear open and close window creates urgency, builds excitement, and gives your audience a reason to take action now instead of later.
Live webinars are especially powerful during an open cart period. They give you the chance to engage with your audience in real time, answer questions, and handle objections while your potential customers are still deciding. This direct interaction is a big reason why Live webinars often convert better than automated ones.
When you do Live launches, you also become a stronger marketer. You learn what works and what doesn’t by watching your audience’s behavior and adjusting your strategy along the way. That insight is hard to get with an always-open offer.
If your course truly needs to be evergreen, you can move to that model later. But I always suggest doing a few Live launches first so you can refine your messaging, strengthen your offer, and better understand your audience. Once you have that foundation, you can adapt it into a strong evergreen funnel that works behind the scenes.
