While I create my course and get ready to launch, what do you recommend I include on my website if I am moving away from one-on-one consulting, but still have clients?
When I was transitioning out of one-on-one consulting, the first thing I did was stop taking new clients and remove that service from my website. I wanted to shift my focus entirely to creating and launching my course, and leaving that offer up was just confusing for my audience.
While you're preparing for your course launch, I suggest keeping your site simple and forward-focused. Create a waitlist page that teases your upcoming course and invites people to sign up to be notified when it's ready. This helps you start building interest and growing your list while showing your audience that something new is coming.
To see an example of a waitlist page, click here. (NOTE: If you click on that link during a Live promotion of DCA, you will not see a waitlist page, so check back when I'm not launching.)
If you’re still serving existing clients behind the scenes, that’s totally fine. Just keep that part off your main website for now so your messaging is clear and aligned with where your business is headed. Keep it clean, focused, and simple. That way, when you’re ready to launch, your audience already knows what’s coming.
