What are some ways, besides a Facebook Group or Zoom Q&A, to offer Live support during my course?

Offering Live support during your course is a great way to boost the value of your program and help your students get results. If a Facebook Group or traditional Zoom Q&A doesn’t feel like the right fit for your course size or style, here are a few other options to consider:

Voxer

Voxer is a simple app that lets you send voice messages in real time. It’s perfect for small accountability groups or quick back-and-forth support. With the free version, you can create chat groups with up to five people. With a Pro account, you can message up to 500 people and send one-way broadcasts to your entire group.

Slack

If you have a small to mid-size group, Slack can be a great alternative to Facebook. It gives students a space to ask questions, connect with each other, and get updates from you. You can create channels for specific topics, share resources, and make announcements all in one place.

Office Hours on Zoom

Instead of hosting structured Q&A calls, you can set up open office hours once or twice a week. Just show up during the scheduled time and allow students to drop in as needed. It takes the pressure off having a big turnout while still offering valuable access to you.

Pre-recorded Q&A

Ask your students to submit questions ahead of time, then record your answers and post them in your members' area. This is a great way to provide personalized support while staying in control of your schedule.

One-on-One Coaching

If you have the capacity, offering private coaching sessions can be an excellent upsell or VIP experience. It’s the most personal way to support your students and can be especially helpful for smaller course groups or premium tiers.

Course Comment Section

Many course platforms allow you to turn on comments inside each lesson. This gives students a chance to ask specific questions about the content and allows you to respond in context. It’s simple, effective, and easy to manage.

You do not need to do it all. Choose the option that aligns with your bandwidth and gives your students the support they need to stay engaged and moving forward.
