What is the difference between a Course Transformation Statement and a course name subtitle?

Your Course Transformation Statement describes the before and after experience your ICA will go through as a result of completing your course.

Your course subtitle is a short and compelling line that highlights the key outcome or benefit someone will get by enrolling in your course. It’s used on your sales page, in promotional materials, and anywhere your course title appears publicly.

Both your Course Transformation Statement and a good course subtitle will clearly point to the result or outcome your audience can expect. With that being said, you may use part of your Course Transformation Statement in your subtitle, but you don’t want to get too wordy.

For examples, check out the PDF in Module 1, Lesson 4 of Your Ready to Launch Digital Course Track for subtitles, and compare those to the Course Transformation Statement examples in the PDF from Module 1, Lesson 3. Seeing them side by side will help you understand how they support each other while serving different purposes.
