If I have two course ideas, each geared toward a different ICA, how do I decide which idea to validate and pursue?

I always recommend validating one course idea at a time. If you try to validate two ideas at once, it’s going to get muddy and confusing fast. Pick one and go all in. If after doing your “course calls” you realize it’s not the right fit or doesn’t align with what you want to build, you can always go back and validate the second idea next. You are building a long-term business, so there is no need to rush.

To help you choose which course to validate first, go through the Course Creation Sweet Spot activity in Module 1, Lesson 1 of Your Ready to Launch Digital Course Track. Run both ideas through it and see which one aligns more clearly across all four quadrants.

Once you’ve successfully created and launched one course, it becomes so much easier to build and launch another. You’ll already understand how to market it, how to talk to your audience, and how to sell effectively. But first, focus on nailing down one idea, validating it, creating your course, and launching it multiple times. After that, you can always circle back to the other idea with confidence.

And when you’re ready to validate your course idea, be sure to use the questions in The “Course Calls” Strategy Cheat Sheet in Module 2, Lesson 1. It will walk you step-by-step through how to get the insights you need to move forward.
