Do you ever rely on a script, and do you have any tips on how we can speak clearly and concisely?

Yes, I definitely use a script, especially when I’m recording my course content. I read from a script on a teleprompter because it helps me stay focused, deliver the material clearly, and keep my messaging tight. For me, having a script ensures that I don’t miss anything important and that I stay on track with the transformation I’m guiding my students through.

Now, when I’m going Live, I don’t use a script. I might have some bullet points or prompts, but I speak freely and let the conversation unfold naturally. Keep in mind, I’ve been doing this for a long time. I used to stammer and stumble way more than I do now, and I still do sometimes! But experience helps.

One of the best ways to improve is simply to show up. Go Live often, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. You get better the more you do it. And here’s something that really stuck with me from my friend Stu McLaren: “If you’re not saying the same thing over and over again, you’re actually doing it wrong.” When you’re repeating your core message often, you’ll naturally become more confident and clear in how you communicate it.

At the end of the day, remember this: let your content be what truly shines. If your teaching is strong and valuable, people won’t even notice the “ums” or pauses. They’ll be too focused on the transformation you’re helping them create.
