What teleprompter do you use, and how do you set it up so that it doesn’t look like you’re reading from one (even if you are)?

I typically only use a teleprompter when I’m recording direct-to-camera lessons, and I practice a lot before filming. I was terrible at it in the beginning, but I’ve gotten better over time. It just takes practice and patience to get comfortable.

If you're looking for a simple teleprompter to get started, Elgato makes a great one (you can find it HERE). I also recommend using PromptSmart or BigVu. Both are user-friendly apps that work well on a cell phone.
