How much of the webinar should be spent teaching versus promoting my course?
There isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, but here’s a general guideline I follow and teach my students: about 75% of your webinar should be focused on teaching valuable content that engages, inspires, and serves your audience. Use this time to connect with your audience, deliver your main concept, teach your three key secrets or insights, and establish trust.
Then, in the final 25% of your webinar, transition into promoting your course. This is when you'll walk your audience through the course promise, what’s included, the transformation it offers, and why it’s the next right step for them. You’ll also explain the price, bonuses, and how to enroll.
After that, you can add another 15 minutes or so for Live Q&A, which is a great way to handle objections and help people make a confident buying decision.
