Can I repurpose my Live videos for YouTube, podcast episodes, or other content?

Absolutely, and you should! Repurposing your Live content is a smart and efficient way to get more mileage out of the content you're already creating. If your Live content is valuable to your audience, there's no reason to keep it limited to just one platform.

A great example of this is my friend Corinne Crabtree, who hosts the Losing 100 Pounds podcast. Every Friday, she goes Live on her Facebook Page. Then, over the weekend, she repurposes that exact Live and uploads it to her podcast. She even calls it out by saying, “Hey, every Friday I go Live on my Facebook Page. This is a recording from that Facebook Live. Enjoy.” Her audience knows exactly what to expect, and they love the consistency.

If you have the bandwidth or team support, repurposing is always worth it. You can take one Live video and turn it into:

  • A podcast episode
  • A YouTube video
  • A blog post
  • A handful of social media clips
  • Quotes or graphics for Instagram
  • An email to your list

It all starts with one piece of content.
