After my first Live webinar, should I use social media to promote the replay or send people directly to the sales page?

Once your first Live webinar is complete, you’ll want to send the webinar replay link via email specifically to people who registered but didn’t attend or didn’t purchase. This helps you reconnect with warm leads who were already interested enough to sign up. I walk you through this replay strategy in detail inside Module 6, Lesson 3 of Your Ready to Launch Digital Course Track.

However, for your public-facing social media posts, I suggest focusing your efforts on continuing to promote your upcoming Live webinars if you still have more scheduled. Keep filling them up by posting about the benefits of attending, going Live to talk about what they’ll learn, and running targeted ads if you’re using paid traffic.

You want to direct your cold and warm audiences toward the most engaging next step (which is usually your next Live webinar) not a replay or the sales page right away. Your Live webinar is where the connection and conversion magic happens.

So think of it this way:

  • Email → use it to send the replay to no-shows and non-buyers.
  • Social media → use it to promote your remaining Live webinars.

This keeps the energy high and momentum building as your cart stays open.
