What software does Amy use to go Live on a webinar?
For my Live webinars, I use a custom tech stack that gives me a lot of control over the experience. I use Ecamm Live to show my video and share my slides, and then Restream and Vimeo work together to stream the video to a custom registration page. I also use Chatroll to enable Live chat underneath the video player. This setup gives my team and me the flexibility to design a custom-branded webinar experience and manage all the moving parts exactly how we want them.
That said, this level of customization isn’t necessary when you’re just starting out. In fact, I don’t recommend it for beginners because it adds a lot of complexity and setup time that can take away from your focus, which should be on creating amazing content and building connection with your audience.
Instead, I recommend using an all-in-one webinar platform when you're launching your first digital course. A solid platform handles the registration page, video stream, chat, and even follow-up emails all in one place.
