At what point should you consider hiring someone to help you in your business?
I always recommend starting with a Virtual Assistant (VA), even before you think you're ready. This can be as little as five hours a week. I know it can feel like a stretch financially, and you might not even know what tasks to delegate. I felt the same way when I hired my first VA. But we figured it out together, and it made a huge difference.
At the time, I was doing social media management for small businesses, and my VA started with just five hours a week. As my business grew and I realized how valuable her help was, we increased her hours, first to 10, then 15, and eventually full-time. That small initial step allowed me to get out of the weeds and focus on the work that truly moved my business forward.
Hiring doesn’t have to be overwhelming or expensive. Start small, delegate what you can, and give yourself the space to grow.
