I am thinking about starting a membership site. Is the launch strategy the same?
The launch strategy for a membership site is very similar to launching a digital course. In fact, membership expert Stu McLaren follows a launch strategy that closely mirrors what I teach in Digital Course Academy. The key difference is in the format: Stu typically uses a three-part pre-launch video series in combination with webinars, while I rely more heavily on webinars alone, but the overall flow and strategy are quite alike.
If you’re already familiar with launching a course, you’ll recognize many of the same components: building anticipation with pre-launch content, using a webinar to deliver value and present your offer, and following up with an intentional email sequence.
